Dear
Friends,
Thank you for visiting my website. I am seeking the Republican
nomination for the 27th District (Winchester, Frederick, Fauquier,
western Loudoun and Clarke) Senate seat for three reasons:
To protect taxpayers
and our economy from burdensome tax increases.
To support and promote
family friendly policies especially in education.
To control unrestricted
growth.
Our special corner of Virginia deserves a Senator who is in touch
with the concerns of the people. As Vice Mayor of Middleburg, I have
worked with my colleagues to solve town problems without taxing
families more. I have proven that an elected official can
successfully reach across party lines, and not leave his commitment
to core conservative principles behind. I look forward to bringing
that experience of fighting taxes and balancing budgets to the State
Senate. I look forward to bringing my understanding of our
communities concerns over the problems associated with unrestricted
growth to the State Senate. It is an issue overlooked by our
legislature in Richmond. At the State level I will continue to work,
as I have at the local level for more than a decade in public
office, to provide our communities with the tools necessary to
control their own destiny. I have walked through the villages,
towns, and cities of our district and these issues of fighting
taxes, supporting families, and reining in growth the issues to
which I have dedicated my public service career - are the issues on
which our fellow citizens long for leadership.
I vow to represent, and fight for, the residents of the 27th
district, not the agenda and ulterior motives of special interest
groups in Richmond. I ask you for your support. To win this campaign
for the taxpayers, parents, and citizens of our district, it will
take the commitment and involvement of many volunteers to get out
our low tax, pro-family, smart growth message. I hope I can count on
you.
Thank you and God Bless America.
